Marc Leonard, a highly sought-after midfield player from Brighton, has agreed to a £500,000 deal with Birmingham City, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Among the many teams that have been connected to Leonard this summer is Birmingham City.

After two successful seasons with Northampton Town, where he helped the Cobblers earn promotion from League Two and solidify their place in League One the following season, the Scot has returned to his parent club, Brighton.

Leonard will leave Brighton after six years of service with the switch. Although he only made two appearances for the first team since joining the club in the summer of 2018, he had a successful academy career despite coming from the Hearts development system.

However, Leonard is expected to move to Birmingham City after spending two seasons on loan at Northampton Town.
