Before the NBA Championship, the Boston Celtics were prevented from trading by five superstars led by Brad Stevens.

In the 2024 NBA Finals, the Boston Celtics defeated the Dallas Mavericks in just five games, reclaiming their title as world champions.

The Finals Most Valuable Player award went to Jaylen Brown, as the crowd showered Jayson Tatum and Jrue Holiday with bouquets. But given his record of work behind the front office desk, Brad Stevens, the president of basketball operations at Boston, is also a franchise hero.

Without Stevens, the Celtics probably wouldn’t have built the team that won Boston’s first championship since 2018. With the power that he possesses, Stevens was also said to have rejected ideas about going after elite stars like Kevin Durant and Kawhi Leonard in the past.
