ALL LEEDS NOTE: Leeds United Star optimistic about the future.

Everyone is focused now, and Leeds United star is optimistic about the future.

Illan Meslier emphasized that it takes time for everyone to adjust to playing under a new manager and maintained that the transfer window’s closure will help the Leeds United players focus better.
Following their relegation back to the Championship, Leeds have not had the ideal start to the season, winning just one of their first five league contests.

Due to numerous players trying to force their way out of Elland Road during the final month of the window, the club had to deal with unrest off the field.

Meslier acknowledged that teams have been defensive against Leeds at the beginning of the season and that it is difficult to carry the label of favorites in the Championship this year.

He also emphasized that their slow start has also been a result of the squad’s revamp and the time it takes for players to adjust to a new manager like Daniel Farke.

The goalie, however, is of the opinion that now that the transfer window has passed, the players can entirely concentrate on the task of winning games.

“We have the status of the favorites in the Championship this season,” Meslier said on the official Leeds United podcast. We must exert a lot of pressure in a tight area since it is difficult to play against teams that prefer to play in the low block near to the goal.

“We can play a different brand of football than we did last season”We have a new manager with new ideas, so it’s not the best start, but it’s also not the worst.

“It just takes time to put everything clearly,” the player said, “and also, we had some players go out and come in, and everyone needs to understand the ideals of the boss. “So, sure, it takes time, but now that the transfer window is closed, everyone is now focused on winning every game.”

This weekend, Leeds will go to London to play Millwall in the Den on Sunday.
