Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson has praised Darwin Nunez for his performance against Wolverhampton Wanderers away from home in the Premier League on Saturday.

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool won 3-1 against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Wolves took the lead in the Premier League game after just seven minutes.

Liverpool were really poor in the first half and were 1-0 down at the break.

However, the Merseyside club stepped up their game in the second period.

Liverpool scored three goals and picked up all three points from the encounter.

Darwin Nunez did not start the match.

The 24-year-old Uruguay international striker came on as a substitute came on as a substitute in the 56th minute.

And Robertson has noted that Nunez caused problems for the Wolves players.

Robertson told Liverpool’s official website: “But then second half, they just came out, played with no fear and we made really good substitutions.

“Darwin caused problems, Harvey caused problems and Luis Diaz comes on at half-time.”

In our view, Darwin Nunez played well for Liverpool against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

While the striker did not score and had a very good chance to do so, his running and pace was a problem for the Wolves defence.

The striker was always available for passes from his teammates and did not shy away from running with the ball whenever he had it.

Nunez may be struggling to score goals on a regular basis for Liverpool, but the £140,000-a-week (Spotrac) striker is a threat whenever he is on the pitch.
