USC Football Injury Report: Lincoln Riley Provides Update On Key Defensive Piece
The redshirt senior safety is questionable for tonight’s primetime matchup
The USC Trojans are set to take on the No. 5 ranked Washington Huskies on Saturday night, and could be without their senior safety for the third straight game, Max Williams.
Head coach Lincoln Riley provided an update on the redshirt senior and is hopeful he could be out there for the depleted USC defense.
Although this quote is from Thursday, this still stands true as Williams is questionable and could be a game-time decision.
The senior safety has missed the past two games after he suffered a lower-body injury against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He suffered the injury early in the game.
With sophomore safety Zion Branch out for the year, Max’s presence will be much needed if he is able to make an appearance for tonight’s crucial matchup.
We’ll keep a close eye on Williams, and we’ll see if he can return to the field for this must-win game.
