Ex-USC football wide receiver Mario Williams has revealed his transfer destination for the 2024 collegiate season, per Justin Rudolph of On3.com.

The 5’9″, 186-pound junior wideout announced the news on his official Twitter/X account earlier today:

Williams followed another (unrelated) Williams, Caleb, to the Trojans from Oklahoma, serving as one of the Heisman Trophy winner’s preferred offensive options.

During the Trojans’ uneven 2023 NCAA season, in which the club went 8-5 and missed out on CFP glory, Williams notched 29 total receptions, 305 yards total and two touchdowns.

Mario Willams kicked off his collegiate career with Caleb Williams and Lincoln Riley’s Sooners in 2021. Per the On3 Industry Ranking, Mario Williams was a four-star recruiting in coming out of Florida’s Plant City High School, and had been ranked as No. 33 best prep player in his class. He hopped into the NCAA transfer portal along with Caleb Williams to join the Trojans in 2022.

During Caleb Williams’ Heisman season in 2022, when the program finished with an 11-3 record and a Goodyear Cotton Bowl appearance, Mario Williams enjoyed his most prolific numbers of his collegiate career to date. He recorded 631 total receiving yards on 40 receptions, while notching five touchdowns.
