Ravens supporters act disrespectfully following Joe Burrow’s injury.

Just because Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was hurt, Baltimore Ravens supporters did not give him a pass.

Insider: Ravens think Joe Burrow "embellished, faked" injury as an excuse

Against the Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland, the Bengals were defeated 34–20.

Halfway through the second quarter, Burrow tried his throwing arm on the sideline and was clearly in considerable agony (see the video here). Eventually, the Bengals declared him out of the game because of a wrist injury.

After the game, Burrow was still the target of taunts from Ravens supporters. The crowd was filled with cries of “F–k Joe Burrow” during the “Thursday Night Football” postgame show.

Before leaving the game, Burrow completed 11/17 for 101 yards, one touchdown, and no interceptions.

After their team improved to 8-3 and grabbed a full game lead over the rest of the AFC North, Ravens supporters essentially put insult to injury. With a 5-5 record, the Bengals finished last in the division.

The Ravens, nevertheless, did not come out of Thursday unharmed. Mark Andrews, a tight end with the Ravens, appeared to have a frightening ankle injury when Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson made a contentious tackle.
