Former Bunny joins Canberra Raiders, 2024 squad confirmed

The Canberra Raiders have revealed their Top 30 roster and additional players for the upcoming season. One former South Sydney Rabbitohs player has joined the team.

26-year-old Troy Dargan, who played two NRL games for the Rabbitohs in the 2020 season, was first mentioned as a possible Adam Reynolds successor following his departure from Redfern.

The Cook Islands international, along with Michael Asomua, Jordan Martin, Noah Martin, Vena Patuki-Case, and Adrian Trevilyan, has inked a supplemental deal with the team.

Young players Brad Morkos, Chevy Stewart, and Ethan Strange have been promoted to the club’s Top 30 squad, while Kaeo Weekes, Simi Sasagi, and Morgan Smithies have been signed by other NRL teams.

Following their retirement, they lost Brad Schneider (Penrith Panthers), Semi Valemei (North Queensland Cowboys), Matt Frawley (Leeds Rhinos), Jarrod Croker (retired), and Jack Wighton (South Sydney Rabbitohs) for the 2024 campaign.
