Voetbal International reports that PSV Eindhoven worry that Noa Lang’s injury will prevent her from playing for a while. The 24-year-old winger, who transferred to PSV from Club Brugge in the summer, won’t play against Fortuna Sittard on Saturday. He is anticipated to miss both PSV’s league game against Ajax and their Champions League match against RC Lens.
Lang injured his hamstring during his side’s 4-0 victory over Sparta Rotterdam before the international break. The former Ajax attacker was substituted just after the half hour mark. This led to his absence from the Dutch national team. Noa Lang has completed an individual training program during the break, but now it looks like he’ll need even longer to recover.

According to Sport1, Eintracht Frankfurt are interested in AZ Alkmaar’s star striker Vangelis Pavlidis. The Bundesliga club have identified the 24-year-old as a suitable replacement to Randal Kolo Muani, who left Frankfurt for Paris Saint-Germain on transfer deadline day in a deal worth £77m.
Vangelis Pavlidis is in fantastic form at the moment. The Greece international is the second highest scorer in the Eredivisie so far this season with 10 goals. This season the former VfL Bochum forward has become the first AZ player ever to score in eight consecutive league games. AZ are currently second in the table thanks to Pavlidis’ goal contributions
Eintracht Frankfurt are currently 8th in the Bundesliga table having won two and drawn four of their opening seven league games. Dino Toppmöller’s side have struggled for goals this season, having only managed to score six goals. The club are reportedly looking at signing two strikers in January. Vangelis Pavlidis being one and the other name on the list is Augsburg’s Ermedin Demirović. The Bosnian has scored four goals and provided three assists so far this season.
Pavlidis would certainly be an excellent option for Frankfurt. The striker has shown that he’s capable of playing at the highest level, and the Bundesliga could be the perfect platform for Pavlidis at this point in his career. The striker is valued at around €20m.
