The Süper Lig team was recently reported to have the 28-year-old as a backup plan if a deal for SC Braga’s Al-Musrati could not be completed.

That came from Sabah, and now Takvim has the latest on the situation, as well as some additional details on how the Aston Villa star became a target for Fenerbahçe.

Dendoncker was ‘offered’ to the Turkish side via agents, and the fact that he isn’t playing under Unai Emery immediately piqued their interest.
So far, he has only played 21 minutes, which is far from ideal for the player, and there has been chatter that he ‘may be loaned’ to Fenerbahçe.

The fact that the Aston Villa player, who was purchased from Wolverhampton Wanderers for €15 million a year ago, hasn’t been injured much has also ‘attracted the attention’ of those in control of the Turkish club.

They inform their readers that the versatile midfielder’s most recent ailment occurred in December 2020, with a knock that kept him out of action from Christmas to January 11th, 2021.

ASTON VILLA LAND GETS TWO INJURIES AS ‘BRILLIANT’ PLAYER RETURNS TO TRAINING.

Alex Moreno has returned to training for Aston Villa, and Jacob Ramsey is close to returning for manager Unai Emery after the international break.

According to the Express & Star, Moreno is now back at Bodymoor Heath, with Aston Villa’s players not representing their countries. Emery has been without the left-back since May due to a hamstring issue. But he could be back on the field shortly.

Moreno will now compete for minutes when Aston Villa return to the Premier League against Crystal Palace. On September 16, the Eagles will go to Villa Park in search of their first away win over the Villans since December 2013. Crystal Palace have lost four of their last six home games.

Alex Moreno could make his comeback against Crystal Palace.

After recovering Aston Villa’s left-back position following Moreno’s injury, Lucas Digne has had a fairly decent start to the season. Following Emery’s arrival in Birmingham, the 30-year-old had fallen out of favor with the Spaniard. In January, he signed for £13.5 million.

Aston Villa applauded Emery’s decision to purchase Moreno from Real Betis, believing the 30-year-old was a step better from Digne. Emery then started Moreno in 14 of a possible 19 Premier League games. He injured his hamstring in the final game of 2021/22.

Moreno also made an impression on Alan Shearer and Ian Wright, who praised his ‘fantastic’ crosses into Ollie Watkins against West Ham. In 19 appearances, the full-back provided precise balls into the box, resulting in three assists. Last season, Digne has one goal and no assists in 28 games.

Unai Emery gets a double boost from Jacob Ramsey during the international break.

Ramsey has also given Emery a lift, as the midfielder is close to returning to play with Aston Villa after an injury. The 22-year-old is yet to play this season after sustaining a foot injury while playing for England’s Under-21s at the 2023 European Championships.

Ramsey is expected to return to full fitness within the next two weeks, according to Aston Villa. He was a key member of their squads last season, appearing in 35 Premier League games. The Birmingham native also had six goals and seven assists while starting 31 games.
