The Port Adelaide Football Club is set to hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Friday, December 6, 2024. This important event will commence at 6:00 PM and will take place at The Precinct located on Brougham Place in Alberton, South Australia.

Financial members of the Port Adelaide Football Club for the year 2024 are invited to submit nominations for a single position on the Board of Directors. This position carries a three-year term, and current director Rob Snowdon OAM is eligible to seek re-nomination as his term concludes.

Nominations must be submitted to the Returning Officer according to the guidelines outlined in the Nomination Form. The nomination period begins at 9:00 AM on October 11, 2024, and concludes at 5:00 PM on October 25, 2024. To streamline the process, the club has implemented an online nomination system; interested candidates can find the registration link to access the nomination form.

Each nomination must be endorsed by a 2024 financial member and also require at least five additional supporters from the same member base. According to Clause 12.4 of the club’s Constitution, individuals who are accredited player managers or associated with the AFL or SANFL in any official capacity are ineligible for directorship. Additionally, nominees must include a profile of no more than 250 words to support their nomination.

If necessary, an election will be conducted via an online voting system that adheres to the established Election Rules, which are accessible from the club. Voting for the Board position will open at 12:01 AM on November 22, 2024, and will close at 5:00 PM on December 4, 2024. All interested parties are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the voting procedures ahead of time.
