The excitement is building as tickets go on sale today for the 2025 Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Trials, set to take place from December 30 to January 4 in Liverpool, Nova Scotia. This event marks the beginning of the journey toward the 2026 Winter Olympics, where Canada will vie for spots in mixed doubles and four-player curling teams. Liverpool’s Queens Place Emera Centre will host this crucial competition, determining which teams will secure their chance to represent Canada in Milan/Cortina, Italy.

Following the Mixed Doubles Trials, the Road to 2026 continues with the Canadian Pre-Trials, scheduled for October 21-26, 2025, at the Andrew H. McCain Arena in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. These Pre-Trials will finalize the women’s and men’s teams that will proceed to the Canadian Curling Trials. The last phase of the Road to 2026 will be the Canadian Curling Trials themselves, which will occur from November 22-30, 2025, at Halifax’s Scotiabank Centre. This event will determine the final teams that will compete for Olympic spots.

The Mixed Doubles Trials will see the top teams compete for the opportunity to represent Canada in the upcoming Winter Olympics. While Canada still needs to secure its spots in all three disciplines for the Games, current results suggest a strong position. Already, five of the sixteen competing teams have been confirmed, with tickets now available for purchase online and at the Queens Place Emera Centre box office.

Ticket options for the Trials include single-draw tickets, day passes, and full-event passes, with prices ranging from $12.95 to $203.50. In addition to the confirmed teams, the final spots will be filled through Direct-Entry qualifying events and the top-ranked non-qualified teams based on the Canadian Mixed Doubles Rankings as of December 9.

The Canadian Curling Pre-Trials and Trials ticket packages will be announced in late September, with sales expected to open in early October.
