A report in the Turkish press claims that Gaziantep are interested in Wolverhampton Wanderers attacker Chiquinho.
The 24-year-old was sent on loan to Famalicão during the previous season, and Sporting has shown a lot of interest in him this summer.
A loan bid has reportedly been made to the Premier League team, according to Gaziantep Pusula, who has reported on the Super Lig team’s interest of the Wolves star. Gaziantep is attempting to bolster their roster during this transfer window, however it is rumored that Wolves has turned down their offer.
We recently discussed allegations that Sporting was interested in Chiquinho, and how his preseason performances have made it more difficult for the English team to offload him this summer.
The winger has apparently impressed Gary O’Neil recently, and the Wolves manager may find him beneficial in the upcoming campaign.
After being recalled from a loan at Stoke City that didn’t work out, Chiquinho made 27 appearances while on loan with Famalicão, scoring five goals.
He has a deal with Wolves that expires in June 2026.
