INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Pacers have revealed the schedule for their sixth and final draft workout, which will include six additional prospects and take place on Thursday, June 20, as part of the 2024 NBA Draft cycle.

Three choices that Indiana currently has in the 2024 NBA Draft are all in the second round. The blue and gold will have an intriguing draft as a result of this unusual scenario. In late May, the Indiana front office discussed how they were constrained in the selection but were still attempting to maximise their circumstances.

“The draft this year, we’re limited a little bit because we don’t have a first-round pick,” Chad Buchanan, the Pacers general manager, said. “But that’s not to say we won’t try to be aggressive if there’s something out there to try to address some needs that we have.”

These six players are scheduled to work out at the Pacers facilities on Thursday. Indiana’s best pick is the 36th overall selection, so many of the prospects that have passed through Indianapolis project to be selected in the second round.

As of right now, ESPN’s most recent mock draft has Bona as the best player in this group with a predicted selection of 37th overall; the only other player included in the mock draft is Johnson, who is placed at pick 51. Throughout this draft cycle, several mock drafts have allocated Johnson to Indiana.

“To the guys who are getting drafted, I just say to them to enjoy the process.” Tyrese Haliburton of the Pacers, who observes several Indiana pre-draft exercises, remarked, “It’s always fun.”

The Pacers will have worked out over forty players by the time of the NBA Draft, which takes place next week.
