Berry 31 signs a two-year deal with Charlton that includes a one-year option.

Most recently scored twice in 17 Premier League games for Luton. “I was told by Nathan [Jones] how amazing the club is.

I wanted to start it right away, so I called him as soon as I ended at Luton,” Berry remarked. “This Charlton squad is incredibly talented.

All we have to do is work hard and have faith in ourselves, and I envision us doing something extraordinary.

Nathan Jones, the manager, expressed his happiness at Berry’s reunion, adding, “I signed Luke for Luton back in 2017.”

He is among the top goal-scoring midfielders in recent years to play outside of the Premier League.

We’ve faced stiff competition to acquire him, so I’m just happy that our team and our connection have made it possible for us to complete the signing.

“As part of this summer’s recruitment strategy, we want to add quality, experience, and a winning mentality to the young talent we have in our squad,” Technical Director Andy Scott continued.

Terell Thomas, meanwhile, has moved from Charlton to join Carlisle United.

Thomas began his playing career at Arsenal and then played for clubs such as Wigan Athletic, AFC Wimbledon, Crewe Alexandra, and Reading.

The 28-year-old Thomas played for the Addicks in 40 League One games the previous season and earned 12 international appearances.

He is a full international, has good English football experience, and recently returned after playing for Saint Lucia.
