The article, which included a poll, talked about the likelihood that Luton Town would recruit Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe if they were lucky enough to sign him.

Smith-Rowe, who is still only 23 years old, is trying to restart his career somewhere after being eliminated from consideration for an Arsenal starting spot on a regular basis.

I said last season that Luton Town managed to sign Albert Sambi Lokonga on loan, and maybe, just maybe, a similar arrangement might be worked out with Smith-Rowe as the ideal substitute for the departing Ross Barkley.

In terms of the aforementioned survey, it turned out to be the most popular one we’ve conducted since I’ve been in the editorial chair. The outcome was quite evenly split, but in the end, the NO party received 54% of the vote, suggesting that Emile’s transformation into a Hatter was only a pipe dream.

Even more so in light of a rumored article from Footballer Insider 247 that claims Arsenal will only sell Smith-Rowe for a price close to £30 million. While that wouldn’t be bad news for the Hatters in any way, that’s not the kind of agreement we would like to be involved in! It’s time to move on. Do you know of somebody Rob Edwards and the team should target? Kindly use the comment section below to share your thoughts on this story.
